Skip Schwartz is a skilled nonprofit manager and experienced fundraiser, endowment builder, negotiator, executive coach, writer and public speaker, who can inspire and motivate.  As owner of MAS Insight, Skip provides relationship management, legacy and endowment program design, direct program management, executive and transition coaching and consultation services to agencies and nonprofit organizations.

Skip became Executive Director of West Marin Senior Services in 2013. WMSS is the critical link for rural Marin County California seniors that provides care management, nutrition and transportation so seniors can live at home safely and with dignity in their community. WMSS also owns and operates Stockstill House, an assisted living facility in Point Reyes Station, CA. West Marin Senior Services has a professional and support staff of 24 and is building a Legacy of Care Endowment and exploring models and  initiatives for accelerated business capacity. Skip advocates for WMSS and cultivates stakeholders, major donors and the donor base.

During 35 years as Executive Director of Audubon Canyon Ranch, Inc. in Marin County, California, Skip Schwartz transformed an interest in natural history and the outdoors into a career and built a thriving organization that is now a 5,000 acre system of Wildlife Sanctuaries & Nature Education Centers with a focus on Land Preservation, Environmental Education and Conservation Science & Research.  Audubon Canyon Ranch is an authority on Colonial Waterbird (Heron & Egret) ecology, habitat preservation and restoration and experiential environmental education.  Skip established a thriving volunteer program based on a lifelong learning model that has been extensively studied, imitated and modeled.  The system of Wildlife Sanctuaries & Nature Education Centers focuses on Land Preservation, Environmental Education, Conservation Science & Research.

Skip advocated for ACR and cultivated stakeholders, major donors and the donor base; meeting budgets and generating multimillion dollar contributions. He expanded the endowment fund from a modest beginning to over $25 Million.  Successfully recruited and retained long-term staff and volunteers and built an inclusive organizational culture around great people doing what they love. Skip directed 20+ employees and an annual budget of ~$2.5M
